What it is
A limited liability partnership (Perkongsian Liabiliti Terhad, PLT), registered with SSM.
The PLT is separate from its partners, so their liability is generally limited.
A PLT must have a compliance officer, lodges a yearly declaration with SSM, and files Form PT for tax.

Registration is with SSM. The rules on partners and on who can be the compliance officer are set by SSM; we confirm the current requirements for you before you apply.
